Our story

Fewer, better, repaired forever.

Field & Thread opened in 2016 with one shelf of waxed canvas and a repair bench in the back. The shelf grew. The bench stayed.

We stock eight plates at a time, from workshops we have visited, and we mend every one of them for free — for as long as you own it. That math only works when a thing is made right the first time, so that is the whole buying policy.
